A couple of days after Thanksgiving, we all went duckpin bowling. Now this, I did get pictures of. It was so much fun and surprisingly hard. Oh, and don't worry, I'm as bad at this type of bowling as I am at regular bowling. The only perk to duckpin bowling is that no one does really well. That way I didn't feel too bad when I got the lowest score every game.
The lane is the normal bowling length, but ya, the pins are that small.
And, ya, the balls are that small too...see the challenge? At least you get 3 rolls in this game...
Woot! Woot! Go Curtis!
My sister was hilarious to watch. She just chucked it down the lane as hard as she could. It worked...some of the time...
Ya, it's a challenging game, duckpin bowling but it's a lot of fun. Plus, the alley is super old school. You have to keep track of your own score and clear your own pins with a button...awesome! Curtis and I plan on making duckpin bowling a must every time we go to VA. They don't have any down here in NC, sadly.
PS: Remember the wishbone last year? Ya, well, take that Curtis! No more good luck for you! Boo-ya!!
On Kyle's mission in the Philippines they would go duck pin bowling on P-days sometimes. He said they didn't have automated systems, the Filipinos working there would clear out the pins. I think it would be fun to try out duck pin bowling sometime.
ReplyDeleteI have never even heard of duckpin bowling before but it looks like a lot of fun! And I like that no one is really good at it! Haha. I would fit in much better! :] And yay for getting the wishbone this year!!
